Peacock blue was never picked at random in Indian textile tradition — it's the colour Krishna wore in his feather, the shade festivals borrow when they want to look alive. On this Bangalore silk, that blue becomes the ground for something older still: Kutch cross-stitch, worked the way Gujarati artisans have counted thread for generations, cross by cross, diamond by diamond, with orange, lime, and white breaking across it like scattered light.

Nothing here is printed to look handmade — it is handmade, on a silk blend chosen for how it moves rather than how it photographs. Bangalore silk carries just enough weight to hold the embroidery's structure, and just enough softness to drape without effort through an evening that runs long.

This saree exists in one small batch. Once it's gone, Desi Aadat doesn't repeat it — because a design copied twice stops being heritage and starts being stock.
