We offer handcrafted sarees including Kantha stitch, Ghicha silk, handloom weaves, embroidered sarees, and festive occasion sarees. Each piece is carefully curated to reflect traditional craftsmanship with contemporary elegance.


2. Are your sarees handwoven?

Many of our sarees are handcrafted or hand-finished by skilled artisans. Slight variations in weave or embroidery are natural and make each saree unique.


3. Is the blouse piece included?

Yes, most sarees include an unstitched blouse piece unless otherwise mentioned in the product description. Please check the product details section for confirmation.


4. What is the length of the saree?

Standard saree length is approximately 5.5 meters, with an additional 0.8–1 meter blouse piece. Exact measurements are mentioned in each product description.


5. Will the color look exactly the same as shown?

We strive to display accurate product colors. However, slight variations may occur due to lighting, photography, and screen resolution differences.


🚚 Shipping & Delivery

6. How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days. Delivery usually takes 5–9 working days across India, depending on your location.


7. Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free shipping across India on all prepaid orders.


8. Do you provide Cash on Delivery (COD)?

At the moment, we do not offer Cash on Delivery.

Each Desi Aadat saree is carefully handcrafted and dispatched with special attention to quality and packaging. To ensure a smooth experience for both our customers and the artisan partners who create these pieces, we process orders on a prepaid basis only. This helps us avoid order cancellations during transit and allows us to fairly support the craftsmanship behind every saree.

All payments on our website are secured through encrypted and trusted payment gateways, ensuring a safe and seamless checkout experience.


9. Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship within India. In future we will make provisions for international shipping, till then do follow us.


10. How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking link via SMS or email. You can use that link to monitor delivery status in real time through Track your Order Section. You can find it in header Customer support dropdown.


🔁 Returns & Exchanges

11. What is your return policy?

Currently Returns are accepted only in case of damage as confirmed through parcel opening video within 1 days of receiving the product.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item with 1 days of receiving the product, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If an incorrect or defective item is being sent to you, we will replace the product or reimburse the full invoice value as per customer demand. Please make sure you have parcel opening video with your request for us to approve it and the parcel opening video should be made within 1 days of receiving the product.


12. How do I request a return or exchange?

Exchange of products will not be entertained all the time but only in case of genuine reasons, which will be determined by our team. In case of exchange, the customer will be liable to pay the one way shipping charges i.e. ₹300.

13. What if I receive a damaged product?

In the rare case of damage, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear images. We will resolve the issue promptly.

Products purchased during clearance or special sale events may not be eligible for return. Please check product details before ordering.

15. How should I wash my saree?

We recommend dry cleaning for silk, embroidered, or handcrafted sarees to preserve fabric quality and color.


16. Can I machine wash my saree?

Delicate or handwoven sarees should not be machine washed. Always follow the care instructions mentioned in the product description.


17. How should I store silk sarees?

Store in a cool, dry place wrapped in muslin cloth. Avoid plastic covers for long-term storage to prevent moisture damage.

18. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking payments.


19. Is it safe to make payments on your website?

20. Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once shipped, cancellation may not be possible.


21. I entered the wrong address. What should I do?

Contact us immediately. Address changes can only be made before dispatch.

23. Do you restock sold-out sarees?

Most Desi Aadat sarees are crafted as single, exclusive pieces rather than mass-produced designs. Since they are handmade by skilled artisans, not machine manufactured, each saree takes approximately 30–60 days to complete.

Because of this artisanal process, the exact same design may not always be recreated once sold out. In certain cases, a similar design may be woven again, but slight variations in color or detailing can occur. These natural differences are part of the beauty and individuality of handcrafted textiles.

We encourage you to place your order while the piece is available, as many of our sarees are truly one of a kind.


24. How do I choose the right saree for an occasion?
