Not every Gujarati Stitch tells a story through birds or lotus scenes — some artisans worked in pure pattern instead, interlocking pinwheels and star-shapes repeated until the border reads like a kaleidoscope held up to light. That's the register this deep indigo blue Bangalore silk saree sits in: geometric rather than figurative, each petal-shaped segment filled solid in red, marigold, magenta or cream, outlined the same way a running stitch has outlined Bengali textiles for five centuries.

Stack four or five colours side by side inside one small shape and you risk a mess; here it holds together because the geometry itself does the organizing, segment locking into segment across a border wide enough to carry real weight.
